Trump's "Mole" and Epstein's "Secret Telegram"
Everyone, I was working overtime at the office reading materials and came across an extremely vulgar piece of gossip. With this kind of stuff, Director Yang usually just reads it and doesn't spread it—unless he can't help himself. Today we won't talk about geopolitics or industry; let's talk about the crisis the Know-It-All King is facing. You know the Know-It-All King's entrance song, YMCA? Well, it's been completely ruined now. Imagine him standing next to Clinton, and Clinton says: faster. This melon comes from the Epstein emails released by the U.S. House of Representatives last week—correspondence from March 2018 between the Lolita Island owner who mysteriously committed suicide in prison and his brother Mark Epstein. At the time he hadn't been arrested yet, but he already felt the sex scandal couldn't be contained. The emails go like this: Mark asks, a while back your blood sugar was high, are you better now? And how's your buddy Donald doing? Jeffrey says, all good, Bannon is with me. Mark says, ask him, does Putin have photos of Trump blowing Baba? Note this is a paraphrase. Jeffrey says, I thought I had enough trouble already. Mark says, you and your buddy Old Don Danny can go remake the movie Get Hard. This is a pun: Get Hard is the movie "Get Hard" (Prison Prep Education)—in prison you have to harden up, toughen up, to survive—but I don't know what he's getting hard about. Jeffrey says, you mean Donny T, T being Trump's initial. I won't nitpick the bragging parts in these emails—those who get it, get it. So who is this Baba that the Know-It-All King blew? Baba is a common nickname in Arkansas in the American South—it means "brother." Brothers are everywhere, but in the powerful circle where Epstein could take photos, everyone believes it refers to Bill Clinton—back in the day, to build a man-of-the-people persona, he arranged this nickname for himself. Who knew that years later it could come back to bite him. Trump blowing Clinton—what kind of concept is that? Two sworn enemies—one wearing a pretty blue dress in Epstein's oil painting, the other a standard-bearer advocating traditional values and opposing LGBTQ. You two really could go down on each other? Now no matter what Trump does, everyone can't look at him straight. Set aside his "Big and Beautiful" bill for now—Bill Clinton is playing mute on this matter. Mark Epstein came out to clarify: First, Baba absolutely does not refer to Clinton; second, Baba is not a public figure; third, this email is purely brothers joking crudely, not suitable for public disclosure, and shouldn't be over-interpreted. The White House press office also came out saying these emails prove nothing—it's all a trick by the Democrats and the media, trying to distract everyone so they can't see our Trump baby is always winning, winning, winning. The Epstein case is just too important to Trump's second coming. During his campaign he promised everyone he would expose all the filthy deeds of the powerful—but once in office he changed his tune, telling everyone to stop harping on this old story. After this big melon exploded, Trump immediately instructed the Justice Department to thoroughly investigate Epstein's connections with Democratic bigwigs, especially Clinton and former Treasury Secretary and Harvard President Larry Summers. By the way, Summers has a melon too: the Harvard student newspaper The Crimson dug up materials saying the old president pursued a certain Chinese academic junior colleague, with Epstein providing assists. We'll leave that part aside for now. A few days later, Trump's attitude did a 180-degree turn, calling on Republicans to support releasing the files, saying we have nothing to hide. Actually it's the same as telling the Democrats: come on, let's hurt each other. Why did he change his tune? Because he needs to solidify his power base and patch up the increasingly obvious cracks within the MAGA camp. MAGA's waters run deep—various factions: Tech Bros, neo-conservatives, religious fanatics, all kinds of fence-sitters. The truly loyal ones are the redneck populist faction, among whom there's a sister named Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia congresswoman,堪称 the head of Trump fans. The issues she usually supports are tightly tied to the reasons rednecks chose Trump in the first place—just imagine her as someone dead set on fighting the corrupt system. But at the critical moment Trump himself dropped the ball, refusing to release the files, so she repeatedly petitioned for their release, which angered Trump and got really ugly. But many in the Republican Party are still tough, continuing to petition—the divisions are too big to paper over. So Trump then turned around and approved the release, while striving to point the spear at the Democrats. How will this ultimately develop? I think dogs biting dogs doesn't matter, but it's very damaging to Trump's governing foundation. For one thing, the Bannon mentioned earlier also belongs to the populist faction, yet Bannon appears multiple times in Epstein's files. He was expelled from the White House in 2017 and became an internet celebrity to win public opinion for MAGA—during this period he was very close to Epstein. Bannon suggested using MAGA to counter feminist MeToo, pitting men and women against each other left and right, to pull the rug out from under and obstruct Epstein's sex crime investigation. Epstein also gave Bannon lots of advice on handling the media—how to face the camera, how to speak—to protect Trump's economic policies. Epstein would also leak some White House internal gossip to Bannon, who had been pushed to the periphery—like whether Trump actually prefers Pence or Pompeo. Until the very moment Epstein was arrested on July 6, 2019, the two were still discussing Bannon wanting to go to Lolita Island to shoot a documentary to help Epstein clear his name. Then Epstein's last message was: Cancel everything. Bannon replied: You're not coming? Epstein couldn't reply—because he was arrested. Why talk about Bannon? Because Trump didn't know how to do politics at all back then—his persona was created by Bannon: the people's good president, who would clean up Washington's corrupt officials for the common folks, who would drain the swamp. Who could have imagined that in the end Clinton would walk out and say: Hi, my name is Swamp, you can drain me—but hurry up. On December 18, 2018, an anonymous email comforted Epstein saying, everything will pass, they just want to use you to take down Trump, they've already stopped at nothing. Epstein's reply was: Thanks, it's crazy, because I really can take him down. I can only say, reality is more exciting than American TV dramas—I hope the American people keep pushing for updates. We also love watching these veteran actors chew the scenery. Next time there's a new melon, I'll share it with everyone. But this kind of extremely vulgar stuff, Director Yang usually just reads and doesn't spread—today I guess I couldn't help myself.
